The suspect, a registered sex offender described only as a 22 year old friend /acquaintance of the child's mother, allegedly took the child and threatened the mother that she would never see him alive again.
"The Milwaukee Police Department's negotiators were able to talk with
the suspect," said Milwaukee Police spokeswoman Anne E. Schwartz.
"They were able to convince him to surrender. We were able to enter the
room and take him into custody."
