Family members say there were clear signs that Fallon Thomas was mentally unstable. Child protective services had been called and allegedly did nothing.

"Twenty-six-year-old Fallon Thomas is charged with two counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide. Prosecutors say Thomas gave 15 pills of her prescription medication to each of her sons, ages 4 and 8, on March 26."
