Evon's body was put in a dumpster and, despite a search of a landfill in Menomonee Falls, Evon has still not been found.

Evon's mother Annette Cross-Perry told Fox News,

“I don’t want to see their faces. I don’t want to listen to what they did. There’s nothing in my mind that can justify what they did because you took him from me,”

“It’s not fair. It’s just not fair. There was no reason behind this. There’s nothing you can tell me to make this right,”

Annette said she wants to keep working to fulfill her son’s dream — releasing his next CD.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinal reports that Evon was biologicaly female and in two separate articles say her name is both Emily and Ebony Young.
