Fed. prosecutors to review the homicide of Corey Stingley and decide whether to investigate.

"Federal prosecutors announced Saturday that they will review the death of 16-year-old Corey Stingley and decide whether to launch a formal investigation."

Corey Stingley's death was ruled a homicide by the M.E. but the D.A. refuses to bring charges against the three men who killed the 16 yr. old boy.

West Allis Police Cheif Charles Padgett supports the D.A.'s decision not to press charges against the 3 men who killed Corey Stingly

West Allis police chief Charles Padgett stood by the D.A.'s decision not to charge three men who violently restarined 16 year old Corey Stingley, ultimately killing the child.

"We don't second-guess any decisions made by experts from our district attorney's office. We have great respect for everyone who works in the DA's office," Padgett said.

Grieving father calls for Fed. investigation after DA refuses to charge 3 people involved in his death.

"Corey Stingley, 16, died days after three customers held him down until police arrived."

"Craig Stingley said his son didn't deserve to die for stealing alcohol. He's largely kept silent in the 13 months since his son died, awaiting a decision from the district attorney on whether to issue charges.
The district attorney told WISN 12 News Tuesday there simply wasn't any way to prove the men knew their actions were killing Corey Stingley.
