Shooting on Milwaukees North side leaves one man dead less than 2 weeks before x mas.

"The victim had just walked outside the home when relatives say bullets started flying.

“My mother was in the house," explains Gill.

Attempting to escape the gun fire the victim and another man hopped into a car and drove off.

Minutes later the car crashed causing a multi-vehicle accident at the intersection of 37th and Hampton."

Hendricks allegedly dropped the infant, fracturing the babies skull.

The amended version of the complaint contains more details.

"It was then, the complaint describes, Hendricks ran off. Nurses then found the baby on the floor crying about three to four feet away from the cot.

The complaint explains, "The baby was crying, but had no immediately apparent visible injury. A subsequent CT showed, however, that the child had a linear skull fracture to the...skull...The child had been given weekly head ultrasounds before that date, none of which showed that injury."

Prosecutors thus believe Hendricks either dropped or threw the baby as he ran away from police."

Originally PC Flynn said in a press conference that Hendricks  "was compliant and he "put" the infant down at the 1:05 minute mark here...

MPD investigating two shooting incidents involving officers.

"This is the second investigation into the MPD’s handing of an active gunmen for incidents that occurred in the last two weeks."

" Rieves is the fourth person Milwaukee police officers shot and killed so far this year, and the other three all were ruled justifiable self-defense after officers were threatened with weapons."

"When asked in the press conference held Nov. 14 about the logic behind MPD investigating itself, Flynn said MPD is not alone in their investigation."

Milwaukee Police Department has no policy for handling a situation like the one at Children's Hospital.

"The Milwaukee Police Department does not have a policy for how to handle an armed — but not actively shooting — suspect at a hospital, something experts said needs to change.

Why is there no policy for how to handle that kind of situation?

Shouldn't that be in policing 101 or something?

Why is Fox6 news trying to make it seem like the suspect "dropped" the baby.

Last night Fox news 6, (while reporting the shooting at Children's Hospital), displayed bullet points with the events as they unfolded.

One of the bullet points said that the suspect *Dropped the baby.

Chief Edward Flynn said very clearly that the suspect "put the baby down." in a news conference earlier in the day.

Just one of those things that make me go hmmm @ Fox news

Operation manhunt

"FOX6 News spoke with Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke less than an hour before Thursday afternoon’s shooting incident for a story about finding people with active warrants.

The man shot by police on Thursday at Children’s is one of about 10,000 with felony warrants.
Sheriff Clarke on Thursday announced the capture of more than 100 people — the majority facing felonies.

“Ranging from homicides to shootings and other serious assaults, felons in possession of a firearm, armed robbery, sexual assaults — some against children and drug dealing,” Sheriff Clarke said.

“Operation Manhunt” is a partnership between the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Marshals, targeting the most serious and dangerous criminals in Milwaukee County
.
“Finding subjects in an urban area who are trying to avoid arrest is labor intensive. These criminals are typically transient,” Sheriff Clarke said."
